Does anybody understand this joke?

It's a good joke. The joke is really the last two lines in the conversation:

"You keep 50,000 bees in a shoebox in your closet?"

"Yeah. F*** em!"

It's funny because the guy keeps so many bees in such a tiny space.

The style of joke is one that gets the listener thinking in one direction from the start and then abruptly goes outside conventional thinking at the end.

It's like the joke:

Q: How many flies does it take to screw in a lightbulb?

A: Only two, but the hard part is getting them in there.

Haha! I like that one. Bees can't live in a shoebox, that's why he says "**** em!". He's "keeping bees" but not in the usual sense of keeping bees.

Um... I'm not sure how old you are, so I hesitate to answer this. But it's making reference to something sexual. Know the old question about which came first, the chicken or the egg? That's all I'm going to say. (I'm sure someone else will be more explicit, but I'm not willing to, in case you're a young'n. : P)
