I have a friend who actually owns the star shaped glasses that Freddie Mercury wore in the Spread Your Wings music video that he bought from an auction. He also has Freddie Mercury's ring as well.

Not just in drumming, but music making in general.

Have you ever listened to Where Is My Mind by The Pixies and as you're listening to it the song sounds slower than you remember it being?

There are two guys sitting on a park bench. One of the guys turns to the other guy and says:

"I've known you all my life but I know nothing about you. Do you have any hobbies?"

"Yes I have a hobby."

"What's your hobby then?"

"I'm a bee keeper."

"A bee keeper? You're not a bee keeper."

"Yes I am, I have 50,000 bees."

"50,000 bees? Where do you keep them all?"

"At my home."

"But you live in a tiny apartment."

"I keep them in a shoebox in my closet."

"You keep 50,000 bees in a shoebox in your closet?"

"Yeah. F*** em!"

I don't understand the joke.

The story revolves around the main character, James. James is a 23 year old man who works as a janitor at a scientific research center. He lives in a clean and decent apartment complex, his job involves doing hardly any work as a janitor (since the research center is hardly ever needed of maintenance) so he does an average of 60 minutes of actual janitorial work a day and still gets paid a good and manageable wage for it, he actually has a car he can drive, he makes it by on his rent payments just fine, etc. He has all these things but yet he dislikes his life and thinks that he has a bad one and he wastes his life away by smoking and drinking everyday, and smoking marijuana on weekends.

One day, James is offered $10,000 by the head scientists at his workplace to test out a classified drug that other scientists all over the country have been working on and enhancing for many years. James accepts the offer. So when he finally tests it out, the drug pretty much knocks him out (the scientists knew this would happen). The drug keeps him out cold but in James's mind he is envisioning himself into a different, fake, imaginary world.

James is now in a different world that is like the real world (knowing it is all not real) with an imaginary man named Sean. Sean is there to guide James through the fake world. Sean can sometimes become seen to other people of the fake world and sometimes can only be seen by James. But in a different world comes a different life for James. James is now a low-life man who works at a crummy falling apart office building where he has to actually to do work all day and has a terrible salary. He is trapped in his workplace all day surrounded by his co-workers who he can't stand and make him frustrated and pissed off everyday. He no longer lives in an apartment complex, instead he rents space in the basement of a house in the crappy part of town, where upstairs in the house lives a guy who is a macho man from New York who is and total jerk to James by making his rent far more than it should be and makes it hard for him to sleep at night because he stays up all night and makes noise which disrupts James. James also has to have a second job to pay for the over amounted rent as an employee at a clothing store at a mall who works at item return. He no longer has a car and has to take the bus everywhere he goes, he also has a gambling problem, and a minor drinking problem, etc. And overtime all the things in this new fake life just continue to get worse.

So in this fake world, James has a life that is so much worse than his life in the real world. The purpose of this particular world and Sean is to show James that his life may seem bad to him but it could be a whole lot worse. Throughout James's experience in this world, Sean continuosly appears and reappears to James. Sean is the decider of when James returns to the real world.

I would plan on the setting, imagery, and dialogue to be kinda dark and trippy (like Fight Club).

What do you think? And feel free to make any suggestions for any changes.

What movies make you feel this way when you watch them (and I mean alone)?

I couldn't even make it through all of Party Monster because it was so unusual to me that I got really uncomfortable. That movie didn't seem like reality to me. It's like when I'm watching it I get this sense that if I lived in that Party Monster movie world then I couldn't stand it and I'd rather die than live in it because it just makes me so uncomfortable and it's so unbearable to me.

It's those really trippy, psychedelic, weird, all around strange and unusual films.

Examples: Party Monster, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Greg Araki's Nowhere, Fight Club (haven't seen the whole movie though), etc.

Does anybody else have these feelings to some movies or do I just have enzymes?

If a Nirvana fan knows like 20 songs by Nirvana but has never even heard of Smells Like Teen Spirit, is that good or bad?

This is no joke. If you are an anti-Twilight fan but you love Nirvana, then this might piss you off. If it does...blame Courtney, she chose him.

16 years ago from today Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain died. Cobain fullfilled a legacy as the leader of grunge. We honor you Kurt. So in honor of Kurt Cobain answer these questions. So my girlfriend has become kind of afraid of me lately because a couple of weeks ago I was put on this medication which was supposed to help me but instead just made me a complete asshole. So because of that medication I was turned into someone I completely wasn't and it made me do something I would never do which is threaten my girlfriend. I've told her so many times before that that I'd never hurt her and then I went off and said that. Now she's lost trust in me. I stopped taking my meds and I went back to my old self. And I told her that the bad me is gone and the good me is back and the bad me is never coming back, but she wants me to proof it. How can I?
