Absolutely! Music is an undertone for everyday motivation. When we drive we listen to the radio, when were in an elevator, or a doctors office we listen to music. Music marks a special moment in our lives and it brings back memories.

During war....people used drums and trumpet types to motivate their warriors. You know, that sort of low/deep-pitched boasting instrument. So I think, yes. I say go for the aggressive music with drums. BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BADADUMP BUM BUMP BOOM BOOM BOOM. Basic music. That stuff really gets into your soul -.- Since the feelings aren't complicated and the the music is simple and not polluted. If it works for hard-core warriors about to enter a blood bath I think it'll work for your exercise session!
