What smell reminds you of your childhood?

When i walk into a house and instantly smell food

Yes.. there is this smell of vegetation that reminds me of snails, I always used to play with snails in the garden at the house I grew up in. I love that smell. That and sweet fern, which I call the scent of the woods.. it reminds me of where I live now and I loved it as a kid because when we drove up North to go on vacation I could always tell when we were almost there because of the scent of the woods.

cleansing soap that smells like peaches constantly jogs my memory of my grandma's domicile, provided that's the type of cleansing soap she used. additionally, this may be a sprint gross, yet each and every time I scent a ferret it jogs my memory of my formative years besides. My brother have been given a puppy ferret whilst i become approximately 6 years previous, and it died some years later.

Every so often my late British papa would surreptitiously fry this up on the weekends...much to the chagrin of my late mama.

this is weird I know, I know but a certain aroma of a man's body odor reminds me of my father....he wasn't overly fond of deodorant. He thought it made him feel effeminate. But he wore it to please Mama.
