IS the CBR600F4i Comfortable ro ride?

Hello, I just got rid of my GSXR600 because I couldn't stand how uncomfortable the riding position was, it was good for 30 miles then my arms and back would start to get sore and long distance riding was HELL. I was thinking of going back to a ninja 250r because it's cheap to insure and it's perfect for riding around town since I'm moving to a smaller town soon. Plus it looks good and has a low seat which is great because I'm only 5"8 and can barely reach the ground a 600.... Now I was looking at the CBR600 F4i (NOT the RR) because it seems to have higher handle bars and the banana seat looks more comfy, plus I can't deny the power of it (!). Can anyone who owns one tell me how comfy is it ? Is it good for long rides ? I don't want to be leaning over too much, I prefer an upright seating position.

The F4i is definitely more comfortable than the GSXR...Not as fast as the Suzuki, but you will probably like it a lot better for riding, and you wont be disappointed with the speed like the 250R (UGH...SLOW), you would like it much better I think.

The F4(i) was a relatively comfortable sportbike from its introduction in '99, but if you like the higher bars, you're going to want a 2003 or newer model.

Because 2003 was the first year for the 600RR, Honda didn't have to make the F4i quite as aggressive any longer. The result was one of the best street bikes of all time.

I have seen an F4i with over 177,000 miles on the original engine. It was still running strong when the owner laid it down and bent the countershaft :(

But the point is that he had taken his F4i across at least 27 states. Sit on one for a while before buying, just to make sure it feels good to you, but compared to other 600cc sportbikes, the F4i is a couch...

Its a very comfortable bike for a person your size. if you are looking for comfort in a sport bike, then the f4 is probably the most comfortable one you will find out there. of course the best way to confirm this is to get a test ride on one, but I think you are looking at the right one for what you are seeking.

What's comfortable for me may not be comfortable for you. It's all subjective.Ride one and find out for yourself.I ride an old Ducati Passo because I haven't found a better fitting bike.
