Should Ron Paul propose a bill to repeal Obamacare?

http://www.lewrockwell.com/north/north848.html

As a former Ron Paul staffer points out in this article, all that is needed to repeal this legislation is 6 words.

"Public Law 111-148 is hereby repealed."

If Ron Paul proposes this legislation, he would be able to expose to the American people which Republicans are for big government, enabling us to more easily defeat them with primary challengers and with independent "spoiler" candidates in general elections. Then, we can replace them with candidates who actually believe that government is too big.

The author of the linked article predicts exactly how the big government Republicans will respond when asked to support this particular bill without any amendments or modifications:

'They will say that Obama will veto it. Answer: "That's true. Kiss Obama's chances goodbye in 2012." Next, they will say that the timing is wrong. Answer: "The timing is never wrong to repeal government-controlled medical care." Next, they will say that . . . well, who knows what they will say? They are wafflers. Do not vote for them if they waffle.'

If Ron Paul does that, we shall force greater redistribution of wealth upon his constituents.

The bill would never pass in the House of Representatives. Politicians don't sponsor bills that have no chance of passing. That's fairly standard in Washington really.

Good luck with that. Republicans don't have enough seats to issue a repeal. Secondly, they would get no public support to have right of health care insurance drop you without notice.

Sure. It'll never even get out of committee to even be voted on. You have no idea about Congressional committees. And you have no idea what was in the health care bill. You should get informed.

As far as your idea about 2012, LMAO!

My favorite part about that bill was that it's one page.

He can, but it would never pass.
