Real ways to lose belly fat?
Ok, im not overweight, I weight roughly 12 stone, and im 21. The only fat I have on me is my small belly. I would like to have a flat stomach, but dont really know the best ways of achieving this. I know doing sit ups and crunches will build muscle under my belly fat, so whats the best ways to lose this fat so that I can see the muscles that are under there?

jogging is an excellent exercise because it let you lose weight
evenly throughout your whole body. If you want to lose weight in
specific areas, you should target them with exercises. If they are
your problem areas, they will be very difficult to tone. You will have
to work double on them. The best approach is this:
1. Lower/control your daily calorie intake (control for normal
weight, lower for overweight).
2. Run/jog to lower your overall body fat percentage.
3. Target your problem areas with exercises.
an excellent exercise, you can do it in front of your TV: sit on a
stool, and put your toes under something (piece of heavy furniture,
for example). In your hands hold a little dumbbell. Please, make sure
that it is not very heavy, start with one kilo, for example, or you
will damage your back and spine! Slowly move the upper part of your
body back, until it's parallel with the ground. Stop for a second and
move it back to the sitting position. Repeat ten times. Every week add
to the number of repetitions. You will see the results in a week,
guaranteed! You will see or feel under the fat - if you have any - six
pack and muscles. Dumbbells do wonders. Much better than these
crunches - I came up to three hundreds and there was no results AT
ALL. With the dumbbells you will see it in a week.

The hardest and most stubbon place to lose weight is the lower stomach.
Ab crunches and sit ups actually make your belly appear bigger because although your building muscle it's hidden beneath the fat.
You cannot lose fat or target fat loss from a pacific part of your body. I tried lots of things and finally settled upon one system that worked for me
Source(s): nothing comes easy but this was by far the easiest solution for me and may work for you as well Have a look. Good luck http://tinyurl.com/383o7et - 1 decade ago
There is unfortunately no simple answer and no way to loose weight specifically from your belly. Continue with the crunches and include more cardio exercises or cut down your food intake to start loosing that little bit of extra fat. There is no need for special diets or exercises - all you need is to be using more energy than you take in. Every little change can make a considerable difference.
Best of luck x

Well, after my daughter, I had gained weight, I went to a weight of 180 pounds, and a size 22-28 waist. Nothing helped, I was walking, all the time with my daughter, taking her on stroller rides, and exercising a lot. Still, nothing. So, one day, I got smart, I decided to only eat salads, and drink tons of water, and eat smart foods, and avoid all the calories that I could. My husband was very supportive. I also, joined a women's water aerobics class and I choose shallow water exercise, where you use the water noodles, you do arm exercises in the water, you run in the water you jog in the water, and it is so much fun, the women become your friends and you all become family, and your support group also, you are all there for one another and you develop the best "sisterhood" ever. I have been doing this for four years now and I have lost all of the weight, I still eat sensibly, and I now weigh 120 pounds♥ I am still in the water aerobics program, and I love it so much I became a water aerobics instructor teaching other women and showing them my before and after pitchers and that gives me motivation and it does the same for them also♥ That is what I recommend, eat sensibly, get on a "doctor approved" diet and a "doctor approved" exercise, and you, too, like me, will see a totally different you♥ If I did it, then so can you♥

Run/walk/jog any of these are probably the best fat burners around. Even if you walk to the store and back everyday? Asumming this would take more than a half hour lol. walking at 4mph (brisk pace) for 30 mins burns about 100 cals. I've been doing it for 2 weeks now and theres a HUGE difference! GOOD LUCK!

start by eating a healthy diet of 4-5 small healthy meals a day... this will keep you metabolism up to burn calories at an extensive rate all day
do cardio... in order to lose your belly you need to lose fat, in order to lose fat you need a diet and cardio

Focus on balanced eating, rather than just fat reduction. Being happy and healthy is preferable to skinny and sick. You’ll thank us due to this advice when you’re 80!
