Is this a sign that God exists and has a nice sense of humor?

Or that Internet scammers are dumb?

Text from spam I just received:

Dear Customer,

We detected irregular activity on your account on Sat 25/05/10 12:52 PM.

Update:

So, I just need to figure out in which time zone the 25th of May 2010 fell on a Saturday?

Update 2:

Yes, you are absolutely right Daisy, I should not have been having irregular activity with a bank I have never heard of while doing the "Time Warp Again".

The 25th was a Tuesday. The date format is correct only the US uses the wrong format. Please give my your password & I will look into it for you.

So just what the heck were you doing last Saturday/Tuesday anyway??? *taps foot* Were you drunk? Were you eating Cheetos and typing at the same time again? Btw, I was thinking to myself... but wasn't the 24th on Monday, huh? Lol! But seriously, doesn't it make you feel thankful that they were kind enough to provide you with information on what exactly "irregular activity" means so you could decide if you should be really worried O.o :D

You kind of lose your sense of time and space when you're suspended from a sex swing in the basement of Salon Kitty's House of Pleasure and Pain.

    "Irregular Activity on your account"..

    **snorts**

That's a polite way of putting it, innit?

The date format there is used in Europe, Asia, etc. not in the USA. So it shows that whoever sent this uses that date format and isnt from the USA.

Are you referring to the date format. If so, it's a sign that the email didn't come from the U.S, as everyone else uses that format.

It's a sign that the scammers live outside the US and use the DD/MM/YY date format instead of the US standard MM/DD/YY format. ...and unless you have accounts with foreign companies, then yes, it is a sign that those particular scammers are dumb.

Maybe it's just because I am old but I see evidence of God all around me all the time. If you see God in that email.. if it made you smile.. brought you a little bit of joy.. then yes indeed I do see God at work there.
