Firstly tell your youth pastor that you want to tell her something but it is strictly confidential. Therefor if she agrees to keep quite then you tell her. If she is properly trained she will know unless you are at some point of danger to killing yourself then she should not tell anyone as you would lose at your confidence in her and never tell her anything again. As for telling her just be straight, explain the you need someone to talk to, and you feel she is the correct person.

ok ive been throught this exact situation before. i had to tell my youth pastor cuz my small group leader found out and said he needed to have a chat with me, so i was kinda forced. i sat down with him and said i had been struggling still and that i really didnt want my parents to know. i explained how i felt. and u really do have to be honest. tell her how your feeling. im gonna warn you, shes probably gonna ask u some uncomfortable questions like when, where, why, how, with what, and what your feeling when u cut. its hard to talk about, but if u open up and be honest, it helps you and i promise u will feel SO much better! if u needa talk to me more, then you can text me 309-264-7395. im here if u need me! remember, just be open and honest! tell her EVERYTHING. dont hold back little bits of info, spill it all cuz u feel much better with it ALL laid out. good luck dear. <3

You just have to do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This could be very dangerous. Your pastor would be the right person to go to. If he or she is any kind of Godly person your confidence should be abided by. You do need more help than that though and your pastor I'm sure could head you in the right direction. Please do it. I pray you will.
