Why doesn't AZ sue the Federal Govt, over immigration ENFORCEMENT!!!?
Since it looks like the federal govt, is going to stick its nose into Arizona's immigration enforcement efforts, by challenging the new AZ law, why are not the various states, AZ at the forefront, not SUING the federal government over their failure to enforce the existing FEDERAL immigration laws?
Would this not at the very least put a FIRE under congress to deal with the problem.
Hey if the states won, it would be a whole new ball game!!!
Just as municipalities who fail to repair roads in a timely manner can be found FINANCIALLY responsible for the damage that occurs, could not the states, or even private businesses hurt by the illegal immigrants, say HOSPITALS, sue for damages?

Now that's a good question and Idea.It is federal government's responsibility to enforce immigration,it's why we have a border patrol and I.C.E. in the first place. If feds are going to place national guards on the border, they could at least justify the expense by having them enforce the law,not as a stop gap to please a foreign president

You can file a suit to enforce a law but you would have a damn hard time to prove that they arent enforcing it. The suit that was filed was the constitutionality of it which is a reason why it was filed in Federal Court. Furthermore, you would have to prove that they are not enforcing immigration laws. If there are illegals being removed, they are in theory enforcing the law. Hospitals could only sue the people in whom the services were rendered. They cannot sue the Federal Government.
You must be a republican.. shame shame shame.

I tried to sue the GOV for breech of contract 10 years ago.
No lawyer wanted touch it..
By suing you are asking the very ones who like illegals to help you sue others that are also in bed with them,,,
