Food and drinks aren't really cheap as they used to be. However, if you go to Vegas.Com there are plenty of 'cheap eats' listed, though most are hot dogs are other unfilling food.

Gambling is cheap on Fremont, and there are plenty of penny machines - but usually you are still betting 45 cents to a $1 a spin. Drinks are free, while gambling, but they delay bringing them to you so you spend longer on the machine. Tipping improves the speed, but not a ton.

The players club gives you coupons and some free slot play.

There are a ton of free or cheap things to do in Vegas. Again, Vegas.com will list them out for you.

Overall, yes, you can go for a relatively cheap price. Airfare/hotel can be as low as $250 a person, and then travel can be done by bus - which is a pretty good system. I'd still budget at least $50/day per person though for tips, extra gambling, etc.

Ya, you need to sign up for the players cards at the different hotels and gamble here and there. I signed up for the Grazie club at the Venetian and Palazzo and gambled for 30 mins and won $300. Of course I stopped myself from gambling my winnings. Anyways after that I started to receive free rooms. I've stayed at the Venetian & Palazzo on several occasions for free. I also just recently found out that I also get comp rooms at other hotels, just never looked into it before.

I don't know anything about airfare because I don't fly out there, we always drive. Food is expensive everywhere you go but some casinos hook you up. I know the Hilton off the strip offers hotel rooms for $50 a night and include 8 free buffet entrances.

It depends on where you are coming from. Airfare: Kansas City to Las Vegas over $300 + (which is high). It was $100 cheaper to fly to Baltimore,MD. Hotel: depends on where you want to stay. Imperial Palace had rates $25.00 per night about a month ago, with no resort fee.

stay downtown or in case you pick to be on the strip look at Sahara, Imperial Palace, on-line casino Royal. respectable position to drop off the bags and bathe and capture a snooze formerly hitting the strip back. once you've a Yahoo account, set up a My Yahoo web page and put in what airport you should fly out of and then upload Vegas of the position you're flying to. that is continuously protecting with expenses on your places. I actually have seen everywhere from $one hundred and twenty---$500 for airfare on there. I also upload more advantageous than one airport i'm flying out of. If one airport is 50 miles more advantageous yet saves me $2 hundred if is easily worth it.

You really have to shop around. My definition of cheap is really cheap. I just got 4 nites with air from a small airline in Illinois to Vegas for the second week in November $245.36... total!
