B&A, I love people like this! Did you ever do something like this?

I found this on SixBillionSecrets dot com and it's pretty beastly!

"When I was 10, I cheated in my vision test so I would get glasses.I was obsessed with Harry Potter."

See, this is why the world is awesome. Oh, and how was your day?

Okay, so not to sound stalkerish but I totally saw that in my news feed (you published it to your wall on Facebook) and now I'm totally obssessed! This was, like, yesterday or the day before and now I've read all of them and I have it bookmarked. I love it!

And I love the one you just quoted. I wanted to share it but honestly I couldn't figure out how. I clicked on "Share to Facebook" and nothing happened... I'm hopeless with technology, really.

My day was pretty good, thanks for asking :D

I'm studying hella for finals but it was nice to kind of take a break from it and take a bike ride with my brother. It was rather relaxing. Now I'm about to go into our hot tub (I'm so Marin it's not even funny) which my dad just fixed so it's nice and hot. Like, burning hot, which for me is like "meh" because I've trained myself to not get affected by hot water which sucks because now I can't enjoy baths or hot tubs, but hopefully this will work out.

Obviously you don't care this much and I've gone on for hella long about hot tubs so I'll just stop.

In answer to your quesiton, unfortunately I've never done that. I used to think glasses were so cool and I always wanted them, but I didn't need to *fake* fail my test. My eyes are so bad that even *with* my glasses I failed the test. This was a few years ago. Gosh my eyes are terrible.

But all in all, thank you for showing me this!

    :D

Haha, I have to say that's the first time I've heard of someone purposely failing a vision test to get glasses. Poor kid probably didn't realize what was coming until they actually put the glasses on and were completely blinded by the prescription :p

Perhaps getting fake glasses would have saved him/her that trouble, as well as hundreds of dollars for the poor parents! Cute story nonetheless :) funny Harry Potter fandom stories are always the best.

Aw, that's cute. I have glasses, but they're just normal boring square glasses. I usually wear contacts anyway. I want to get me some nerdy Harry Potter glasses xD

My day has been boring. And hot. And nerve wrecking. Tomorrow I will be informed what subject I am doing my oral exams in. I just hope I don't get French. I suck at French.

I wanna be someone - W.A.S.P All my associates hate when I blast the song in my automobile and rock out 80s type yet they could take care of it using the undeniable fact that song rocks. BA: no longer undesirable, i does no longer by technique of an album notwithstanding that. i can dig on some Quiet revolt notwithstanding that BA2: Motley Crue BA3: i became more advantageous of a Vh1 gal and that i omit previous Vh1 YPBA: I used to reveal screen Vh1 classic when I had cable I friggin loved that channel

Hahahahaha I wish I could purposely PASS my vision test, so I wouldn't have to wear glasses :(

I failed my first vision test when I was in 3rd grade. And when I was choosing glasses, I purposely chose round ones because of Harry Potter. Mind, they were "super cool".

    :p

    Sounds like a good story.

EDIT: speaking of, I'm planning on doing something similar in a way; my wife is getting contacts, but I'm getting glasses. Partly because I have an eye phobia (don't like things touching them), but also partly for a superficial reason--I think I'll like the way I look in them.

No, in fact I've never read any of the Harry Potter books. :l I've seen the movies though, lol.

    hahaha that's amazing :).

My best friend got me Harry Potter glasses for my birthday :). I'm seriously considering wearing them on a normal day-to-day basis, haha.

    hahaha

but that one should've considered his/her health first. Even though I'm so obsessed, no book is more important for me than my eyes. First, you should have your eyes if you want to read.

I really like ppl who wears glasses, and once I was obsessed abt them, but now I wish I'll never have to wear them.

    Health is Wealth :)
