Can anyone name some good teen books similar to these?

I feel like I have read all the good books out there! Can anyone recommend any books similar to any of the following books and authors:

-->Unwind - Neal Shusterman (I've read almost all of his books, and they were all amazing, but Unwind was definitely the best.)

-->Uglies series - Scott Westerfeld (Same applies as with Unwind. I've read all of his books.)

-->The Knife of Never Letting Go - Patrick Ness

-->The Hunger Games - Suzanne Collins

-->The House of the Scorpion - Nancy Farmer

--> The Outsiders - SE Hinton

--> Blade: Playing Dead - Tim Bowler

and some authors whose books and styles I've really enjoyed:

-->Barry Lyga

-->Pete Hautmen

-->Todd Strasser

If anyone can recommend some good books or authors similar to these, I would be so grateful!

I would also really appreciate anyone who includes a little bit about the books that they recommend, but you don't have to.

(I'm a fifteen year old girl, but I'm willing to read almost anything except for fantasy. Fantasy just doesn't really float my boat :)

Thank you so much!

Update:

Haha, well of course I've already read Harry Potter. Harry Potter was great, and one of the very few fantasy book I like. :)

    Howdy beth! Haven't heard from you in a while :) Anyway, here are some books you might like:

    - Graceling by Kristin Cashore, is the story of Katsa, who has been able to kill people with her bare hands since she was eight. Katsa lives in the seven kingdoms, where very occasionally, a person is born with an extreme skill called a Grace. Gracelings are feared and exploited in the seven kingdoms, and none moreso than Katsa, who's expected to do the dirty work of torture and punishment for her uncle, King Randa. But then she meets a mysterious stranger named Po, who is also a Graced fighter and the first person ever to challenge her in a fight. The two form a bond, and each discovers truths they never imagined about themselves, each other, and a terrible danger that is spreading slowly through the seven kingdoms. (Like the Hunger Games, it has a strong female character, with romance, fantasy, action... And if you're a KP fan (Katniss x Peeta fan in Hunger Games) then you'll love the other KP couple (Katsa x Po in Graceling))

    Katsa is a strong female character who knows how to live in the wild, can hunt, feed herself, knows how to use all sorts of different weapons etc. Po is a sweet guy who is there for her when she doesn’t believe in herself, and is also very good at surviving. There’s also a cute romance in it, and jealousy – another guy is in love with Katsa, and he wants to win her back from Po. A very interesting fantasy with a touch of romance!

    - The Summoning by Kelley Armstrong. Blurb on the back of the book: My name is Chloe Saunders and my life will never be the same again. All I wanted was to make friends, meet boys, and keep on being ordinary. I don't even know what that means anymore. It all started on the day that I saw my first ghost - and the ghost saw me.

    Now there are ghosts everywhere and they won't leave me alone. To top it all off, I somehow got myself locked up in Lyle House, a "special home" for troubled teens. Yet the home isn't what it seems. Don't tell anyone, but I think there might be more to my housemates than meets the eye. The question is, whose side are they on? It's up to me to figure out the dangerous secrets behind Lyle House . . . before its skeletons come back to haunt me.

    I know it sounds pretty sucky, but when I read it, it really was fantastic! All the kids she's put with are branded as 'crazy,' but there's more to them than that - they are really the elite of society (they are mystical beings). I won't tell you more, but really, this book is worth your time. There's also some really cute romance between her and some of the guys at the school - "Chloe is struggling with her feelings for Simon, a sweet-tempered sorcerer, and his brother Derek, a not so sweet-tempered werewolf. And she has a horrible feeling she's leaning towards the werewolf. Definitely not normal... " First couple of chapters in the summoning you can read here - this is what goot me hooked on the book: http://browseinside.harperteen.com/index.aspx?isbn...

    Have fun reading!

    Of that list, I only know The Hunger Games and the Scott Westerfield series well (though I've seen The Outsiders movie!), but from that:

    The Forest of Hands and Teeth by Carrie Ryan - think The Village (movie) + zombies. Great post-apocalyptic story.

    The Mortal Engines series AKA Hungry City Chronicles by Philip Reeve. Another post-apocalyptic, this one steampunk with cities on massive rollers gobbling each other up.

    Rick Riordan writes fantasy books like The Lightning Thief.

  • Harry Potter :D For some reason it reminded me of The Hunger Games.
