Which Inspiron Laptop will Run The Sims 3 on Max Detail Smoothly?
I've been on Dell.com comparing and checking the system requirements, but I don't know which to buy. The more I look, the more I feel like I'm going to explode. It has to be under $800. It needs to run The Sims 3 on max detail without lag. Thanks.

No Inspiron laptop will be able to run the Sims 3 on max detail smoothly. To do that, you'll need to upgrade to a Studio laptop with an ATI graphics card. You can get the Studio 15 with a Core i3 and an ATI Radeon Mobility 5470 for $749.

It's a dedicated video card, so your video card is fine. You just need more RAM. With a simple RAM upgrade it should be able to run Sims 3 just fine. Note: your Core Duo is faster than a P4 @ 2.4GHz, so you're all good there.
