Hi Telwidit,
To make the circle around a tree you could tie a string to the tree and then decide how big you want the circle. Cut the string to this length. You then can get some marking spray paint and use the string as your guide to mark on the ground where you want the circle. This will give you a nice circle. Then you simply use an edging tool to cut the turf around the outline.

You simply mark of a circle, then start turning over the soil in that circle. Do not build the soil up high around the abse of the tree, that is a mistake, at the outer edge of the circle you can make a little trough, jus remove a little soil so that that part is a little lower than the rest, this way the water will run into it and keep the tree watered.
Also, keep the mulch a fraction away from the base of the tree
