    Play in Group C of the 2010 FIFA World Cup will take place on 12–23 June 2010. The group consists of England, the United States, Algeria, and Slovenia. Only England and the United States have previously met in a World Cup, the 1950 FIFA World Cup, when the United States defeated England 1–0. The winners of this group will advance to face the runners-up in Group D. The runners-up of this group will face the winners of Group D.
