Help adjusting a Premier Mounts TV mount?
I have a Premier Mounts AM2-B TV mount. Here it is.

The joints on the swing-out arm can be adjusted by removing the plastic cap on the joint (labelled "Adjustable Tension" on the diagram). I can't get the end cap off. The caps are so flush with the metalwork that I can't get a fingernail underneath. I've tried using a blunt knife, but I've actually damaged the plastic with no sense of movement from it. These caps are not coming off, and I feel like I'm missing something. The manual simply says "Remove end caps".
Can anyone help with this?

i does no longer mount it over a hearth if any type of fireplace is in use below. Ithink they're going to discover that each and each and every wall mount is unique to the television, and drilling stone will reason everlasting damage.
