What does signal 15 mean in reference to a possible structure fire?

What do the various signals mean that the dispatcher uses in reference to possible fires/structure fires? The ones I know of are signal 10, 15, 20, and 30.

Update:

It's not the ETA. It has something to do with what kind of fire it is and how big it is, but I haven't been able to find any information about it online.

    Probably the ETA.

edit; okay, maybe it is actually the size of the fires.

It wouldn't be complicated, i know that much - signals would be kept as simple as possible.

It all depends on what department. My brothers department doesn't use 10 codes or signals. Signal 15 for my dept has been retired and is now a regret to inform you of the death of firefighter John Doe.

"Code this" and "Signal that" have no universal, fixed meaning. Different agencies have different practices. There's no way for anyone to give you a meaningful answer without knowing what agency you're listening to.
