Has art improved or worsened over the past 20 years?
3 AnswersOther - Arts & Humanities7 years agoWhy should I hold myself to the same standards as everyone else?
I know for a fact that I am possessed of uncommon clarity of mind in dealing with human issues and feelings, though i'm not quite as bright as I am sharp. I understand, and I always seek to understand more.
So why should I hold myself to the standards of those who understand nothing, and seek to understand nothing more?
2 AnswersEtiquette7 years agoIs it ever morally justified to impose your will on someone for the sake of personal gratification?
Like, if I found someone really, really hot.
Don't get me wrong, i'm no choir-boy, it's just that morally I can see there being an issue with that.

1 AnswerSociology7 years agoI'm thinking about vegeterianism?
I recognize that meat tastes great, and that I shouldn't just do it because I think it's a fad or something, but I was wondering;
How do I raise my ethical concerns about the treatment of animals with family members without treating them badly?
I love my family, and my friends, I don't want them to think i'm being self-superior or egotistical.
6 AnswersGreen Living7 years agoDo you think as a society we are subjected to a tyranny of the underclass?
Important - I am not making a point on class warfare here.
"underclass" is typically used to refer to people who opt out of society and use criminal means to survive, this can occur at any level of wealth so they cannot really be measured in such a way.
Technically speaking, a corrupt but massively influential politician could be considered a member of the underclass, were his misdemeanors be made public.
5 AnswersPolitics7 years agoWhy are ordinary civilians penalized the same way as corporations?
2 AnswersPolitics7 years agoWhy do we accept financial penalties as the key way of enforcing regulations?
When it is shown repeatedly that people are willing to just pay off the regulatory bodies until they come back again next year and repeat the process?
When will government learn that their intrusion is simply seen as something to be covered by profit margins?
Why is the entire population subjected to this very same mentality for doing things that are comparatively petty and unimportant?
