I tiled an entry way, however, I didn't put in transitions/thresholds into the adjoining rooms.?
How can I make a more seamless transition into the next room without pulling out the tile? (Note) The next room is about a 1/2" lower than the tile due to the Hardyboard and tile and the other rooms is linoleum. Any tips or advice would be nice. Thanks,

Typically you'd place shimming material under the carpet and vinyl. 12 - 18" in length so that the slope of the shim more gradually transitions from the higher floor to the lower. What you are doing is creating a "ramp" under the lower flooring up to the higher flooring.

keep checking around. there are wood transitions made for this type of installation. probably will have to go to a commercial tile dealer to find one. Lowe's and home depot should have standard sizes. i forgot one thing..you can also go to a trim supplyer and probably find something.

you can't. if the entry way is small. then I would remove them before the grout drys to much and do it properly. it will bug you. if you don't
