Joseph Agbeko vs Yohnny Perez part 2?
According to Joseph Agbeko, his camp has started negotiations with Perez about a re-match, how will this fight turn out? will Agbeko get his revenge? i had the fight going for Agbeko until he was headbutted in the 10th which the ref ruled a knock down, either way, what do you think?

Perez will beat him the same way he beat Agbeko in the first fight - Non-stop aggression, non-stop attacking.
Agbeko will be active, too, if only because of Perez' style.
Look for this to be another fight of the year candidate, with Perez keeping his title.

I thought Agbeko would be champion for a long time until I saw the way Yohnny beat him I would like to see them fight again but the out come will be the same Perez by knock out in the 8th round.

I would love to see that fight- the first fight was definitely one of the fights of the year for last year and it was highly competitive throughout as neither man let up for all 12 rounds, which made the fight be a true war.
I thought that Perez won the fight but I thought the judges scores were too wide and didn't accurately depict the close nature of the bout- I thought Perez won it by a score of something like 115-112 or at the widest 116-111 (which is how 1 judge scored it) but the 2 who had it 117-110 were a bit out of line in my eyes. The headbutt was a bit unfortunate for Agbeko but I saw no reason for him to complain about it because he butted Perez numerous times in that bout and Perez sustained some deep cuts near his eyebrows due to Agbeko's headbutts. Perez never once complained about the butts yet when Agbeko got hurt by one, he let his guard down to complain to the referee ignoring one of the key rules in boxing to protect yourself at all times and that's when Perez dropped him, and the headbutt that hurt Agbeko was actually initiated by Agbeko himself, so he has no one to blame but himself, but it turned out not to matter because even without the knockdown, Perez would have still won the fight by unanimous decision.
As far as what would happen in a rematch, I lean toward Perez winning again in another barnburner that is a close but once again, a clear victory for Perez. They both like to come forward but the difference is that Agbeko's punches are very wide whereas Perez's are very short and compact and as a result, Perez's punches get to the target quicker than Agbeko's. Agbeko loads up on his punches and in their first fight, Perez was able to see them coming and time them so that he could counter and parry them with his shorter punches and since Perez didn't fold under pressure, he was able to do the unthinkable and actually beat Agbeko at his own game by being aggressive and outworking him. Perez also doesn't get bothered by anything and simply walks his opponents down even if it means taking some punches because his chin is very sturdy, plus his jab is much better than Agbeko's- Agbeko doesn't have the technique and the fundamentals (particularly a good jab and footwork) that Perez has. I'm sure that Agbeko would once again be highly competitive with Perez but in the end, I think Perez would once again win a decision over him.
