US Graduate immigrating to Canada?

Hi, i wanted some advice , about immigrating to Canada, from the States. My highest qualification is a Masters Degree from US.

I am not sure which immigration route to take, is it the Federal Workers Program.

For a person with my qualification.

If you want to move to Canada, here is a link to the Canadian government web site with the information.

One of the most popular ways of entering Canada is as a skilled worker. Follow this link to see if you are eligible

You can take this test to see if you might qualify

An easier to way to work in Canada, at least on a temporary basis may be under NAFTA. However, you must be a member of certain specialty occupations.

    These occupations are listed here.

As well, if you are an H-1B visa holder in the USA, you may be eligible to apply for permanent residence in Canada.

you can choose between the federal skilled worker program or the provincial nominee program (PNP) - depending on which one you qualify for.

the first step is to get a job and get some work experience - a minimum of 12 months is needed to be eligible to immigrate.

Canada does not want students who have just graduated. Canada wants EXPERIENCED workers.

It depends what field you got your degree in, and it depends on if they need people with that education. They may want people with experience. The learning doesn't really start until you have the job you are trained for.
