Good question and it goes to the root of the BIG question.

Are we robots that can only do as we are programmed. Will we always react to any stimuli in a robotic way. Or do people have free will. Can we actually choose stuff.

We think we can choose. It certainly feels like right now as I write, that I can choose to post this response or delete it. We all feel as though we have free will and can choose.

If we can choose, then it is reasonable to expect us to be responsible for the informed choices that we made.

    1) If a scientist creating a robot doesn't blame the robot for not working as planned why does god blame us?

Inapt analogy. Robots are no more intelligent than screwdrivers. A robot cannot do anything that it's programmer has not programmed it to do. It can ONLY do the things it is programmed to do.

Humans, on the other hand, are able to make choices. Naturally, we are (or at least should be) responsible for the consequences of our choices.

It is wrong and fallacy to say God blames us. Why would God blame us when we are the one who decide and receive the consequences of our decision. Every decision we made is by our own FREE WILL, and every decision will produce either evil fruits or good fruits, And the one to enjoy or suffer the consequences is also going to be us. God is not in the process at all ! Jesus said: "you will reap what you sow"

God only told us in the bible how to live the right way of living, if we want to receive God's blessing. Apostle Paul said: Of course you can do all things in life, even the one Bible said not good, but not all things will benefit us in life, some will harm us and get us killed.

Simple right ? Just either you follow the way of satan or you follow the way of God from Bible. It is your choice, Hope you understand this concept of God now.

God doesn't blame us, he blamed the serpent. Genesis 3:14-15. God made man in His image.

Cause he's really into it. Like that one time you had too much mountain dew and started yelling at your Sims for not waiting that last flippin' 10 minutes for the flippin' dinner to be served and instead trying to eat leftover birthday cake like 20 times when if you just wait 5 seconds you'll have a full mother fudging serving of perfect quality fruit parfait!

We are not robots. We were not created as robots, but as human beings. Quite the difference.

I thought atheists were about accepting responsibility for their actions and yet at every opportunity many seem to want to blame the creator.

The scientist has more emotional maturity than an angry, spoiled 3 year old.
