Problems with HDMI cable on PS3?

I have a PS3 Slim connected via an HDMI cable (Mediabridge) to my Samsung LN-T4061F TV. Periodically (1-3 times in an hour, maybe?) the picture will go black for about 1-2 seconds, then come back. Sometimes the picture will look very green for a moment, then go back to normal.

I haven't tried using a different HDMI cable yet, though that's high on my to-do list. Has anyone else had these issues and, if so, did you find it to be the fault of your PS3, your HDMI cable, or your TV? Any speculation?

Thanks!

Update:

I should note that the dropouts/greenish color happen whether I'm playing games or watching movies, DVD or Blu-ray.

Update 2:

I should also add that these issues don't occur when I'm watching regular TV through the built-in tuner or when watching a DVD using my other DVD player, which is hooked up by component video.

Update 3:

One final note, possibly unrelated... Sometimes, for no apparent reason, when using the PS3, the TV will report "Unsupported mode," necessitating that I switch the TV off and back on again to be able to use the PS3 again.

Update 4:

Hmm, looks like I found the answer myself. Hope this is helpful for anyone else with the problem!

I had a similar problem which turned out to be the tv, however it can also be there ps3...

It's not a huge problem its just that the HDMI cable was not in properly (which may sound stupid) but thats what happened to mine..

Try pushing the HDMI cable into the ps3 and tv end hard and the wiggle it about try and find a place which you get best cross over, For me it was putting the hdmi in the ps3 and then lifting it up, I also has the hdmi socket in my T.V replaced

    good luck
