How do you get rid of refrigerator/freezer odor?
I accidentally left my refer and freezer off for about a week, spoiling the food inside.
I managed to clean it with some Pine Sol and bleach which did seem to help. Are there any other products I can use in addition to sanitize and remove all the odor?

Put about a dozen charcoal briquettes in freezor on a paper towel. After about 3-4 days, if there is still odor, change the briquettes. Paper towels absorb odors but not really bad ones.

Activated Charcoal that you can get in a pet store will pull the odor. What happens is the smells leeches into the insulation and no amount of cleaning will cure the problem. Baking soda works also..but best results are obtained with the charcoal spread in pans.

Sprinkle a box of baking soda on a plate and leave it in the freezer for a week.

Scrub fridge and freezer with water/vinegar solution. Then put open boxes of baking soda.
