What could this be? Help please!?

Hi,

For the past two weeks I've had these symptoms.

-Sneezy/runny nose/congestion

-Coughing

-Itchy eyes

-Extreme exhaustion

-Lymph Node/Throat pain/ear ache

I understand that I had a cold, but why is my lymph node acting up? (The one below my jaw on the left side)

Oh, and how can I stop the pain before I go to the doctor? I can barley swallow. :(

I had the same thing this winter. It is a virus, and that is what they will tell you. My daughter had it after I had it. Use some warm salt water and vinegar and gargle your throat with it. If you have some antihistamines such as Zyrtec, it will help you sleep and also help the sneezing, runny nose, and congestion. It could be partly allergies this time of year. I got that today when dusting, took a Zyrtec, and I already feel better.
