HP G60 or G62 laptop?
I'm planning on buying a new laptop from HP and have decided on two models. The HP G60 series or the HP G62 series laptop. they both have 15.9 inch screens and i just wanted to get an opinion from someone about which one i should choose. Thanks in advance!

I like the G62's features for the money. The hot buttons/extra function keys on the left-hand side take some getting used to, however, especially when you're used to always having tab/caps/ctrl on the far left.
Whichever one you decide on, I would strongly recommend getting whatever accidental protection plan is offered by the vendor. Why? I bought a G62-144DX on May 22nd. I used it the following day at home & the day after that at the office. On the 25th (Tuesday), I opened the laptop to find a massive crack in the LCD. My heart sank, knowing that - whatever the cause - the blame is/was mine. I'm still fighting that battle, but I'm not here to badmouth HP or complain. The LCDs on the G60 series can be very fragile, and my life would be exceptionally easier right now if I'd bought the accidental protection plan!

Well, the store price is $499. If it is a G60 it must be fairly new, so somewhere between $300-$400.

i dont think its a wise decision to buy a HP laptop.
MSI, ASUS and some other provide better price/quality marges.
