1991 lincoln town car will not start?

The car is a Peach! It runs so well, in great condition. I pulled up to the gas pump... put in some gas.... went to leave and the car just won't start. won't turn over, doesn't make any sound at all except the dinging and the lights come on etc, but no engine noise! Please Help! My husband is wicked pi$$ed.

Update:

lights do turn on, radio turns on, everything has been wiggled..... any other suggestions???

    Could be the starter relay or the trigger wire on the starter, also the ign switch under the dash may be bad, just need a test light and know the wiring system and start traceing the wire, get a manual and use the wiring page to help

    Busted, blew a fuse. These wear out at the wrong time.

    Or a loose wire.

    Wiggle the cable to and from the battery and the voltage regulator on the side/wall.

    This is an electrical problem - no sound -

    DOES the interior lights lite when doors are open?

    Does radio play?

    Nope? Loose wires somewhere, little wires or big cables. Or that voltage regulator. Or fuse.
