Mobile rocket ride for kids?

(Maybe trivia would have been a better place for this...) During the era of weekend space hero serials there was a trailer mounted rocket mock-up pulled into neighborhoods for kids to play in. The inside had consoles, switches, dials, lights - the whole works. Kids would be invited to sit at the consoles and the "space crew" would guide them through imaginary missions. I'm trying to locate info on this - a website... anything.

Anyone else remember this?

Sounds a weeeeeeeee bit before my time, like a decade or two. It sounds like something related to shows like "Space Patrol," "Captain Video," or "Tom Corbett, Space Cadet" from the fifties. Do you know if there was any cereal tie-ins? From looking things up I know Chex was a sponsor for "Space Patrol" and that Kellog had tie-ins with "Tom Corbett, Space Cadet" both with their Pep (also tied in to Superman) and Pep: The Solar Cereal.
