Edit: thumbs down or not, his nephew who is a middle east scholar is against this. Interesting how the thumbs downs come right when the article is posted, without enough time to even read a line of what the guy has to say! Close mindedness is sad and incurable.

everything that goes into Gaza by a legal route is inspected by Israelis, the purpose of the blockade is not to prevent smuggling weapons: it is to punish civilians. Weapons are intercepted with or without the blockade.

Let's see they found military grade hardware on the last one so no they aren't living in a liberal fantasy land.

Given the history, I would be checking these boats very carefully myself if I were in Israel's position.
