his contract ends this summer on july first. and that is when free agent signing begins, and he can go with the cavs or look for a better deal and go to a differnt team

Contract ends on July 1st and on that day he is a free agent.

Naw, July 1st is when he an official free agent. July 2nd or 3rd or as long as the free agency signing is when he might officially leave or officially stay. Hope its stay.
