    ready?

I got some great ones for you.

The Thing is a classic and must see (in fact, me and my roommates are watching it right now). http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0084787/

The Shining also a classic. Great story. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0081505/

If you like zombie movies, Dawn of the Dead is one of my favorites. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0363547/

Dog Soldiers is horror, and isn't very scary, but is extremely fun and entertaining. Spoon rules! http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0280609/

    Alien (of course) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0078748/

Identity isn't horror, but a suspense thriller with some killer twists. Excellent story. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0309698/

Paranormal Activity. Even though the story may not be found to be amazing, it is original and downright freaky. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1179904/

    Psycho http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0054215/

    Saw http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0387564/

    The Descent http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0435625/

Also the Texas Chainsaw Massacre was wicked scary too, both of them.

To sum it up, my favorites are The Thing and Paranormal Activity.

EDIT; isn't it sad when people rate you down because of your opinion?

    get a life people

    oh god!!!! Have fun!!!

Rose Red-- Steven King can't do no wrong. Its pretty long though. But no gore just jumpy a lot.

Paranormal Activity-- Scared the crap outta me!

Darkness Falls-- You won't want to sleep for a week

Dead Silence-- I've terrified of all dolls now!

13 Ghosts-- pretty jumpy, but there is some gore in it, not a lot though.

    Shutter-- Creepy as helllll!

    Jeeperr Creepers-- yikes!

    Hope this helps :)

[Rec] (2007) [Spanish] - the best horror film I've ever seen. Also watch it's brilliant sequel [Rec] 2. AVOID the crappy American remake Quarantine like the plague.

R-Point (2004) [Korean] - the scariest film I've ever seen. Closely followed by Poltergeist (1982) and Paranormal Activity (2007).

    Other favourite horror films include:

    Ring (1998) [Japanese]

    The Descent (2005)

    Creep (2004)

    Ghost School Quartet (1998-2005) [Korean]

    km31 (2006) [Spanish]

    Deathwatch (2002)

I like the ORIGINAL Chinese version of "The Eye"..Don't remember it as particularly bloody, but there are dream sequences with shots of burn victims, I do remember. I like the movie as a whole, as it has a good story and many elements to it. Here's the link, Hope that helps...

I just watched Orphan last night and it was SO GOOD! It's very bloody though, sooo I guess that's not what you are looking for. The Fly is also quite scary, but again quite bloody. Grr...

High School Musical - It's not gory (shame) but it will definitely make you scream and cry.

Try The Exorcist if you haven't seen it already.
