green potato chips and green french fries? safe to eat?
every so often when eating im french fries or potato chips I come across one with a green spot....I know why this is....it has something to do with the potato not getting enough light or something like that....
what I wanna know is...is it safe to consume? :)

green potatoes are toxic so just break off the green part and enjoy the remainder =)

I think that is a fungus developed on the potato. Its better not to eat that part . You won't get any food poisoning as your bodies immunity will handle that fungus but ultimately its upto you.
