how to burn multiple movies in one DVD-ROM?

i was just wondering. i saw some DVDs with lots of movies in it.. and series DVDs, like there are 20 episodes in one DVD and it has 1 hour for each episode, how does this happen if a DVD-R is only for 120mins? if the series has 20 episodes, and one episode is 1 hour. 20 hours.. 1200 mins. how does it fits in one DVD? or should i say, what kind of dvd are they are using?

You can burn it onto a normal dvd, you need a programe called dvdshrink just google it.

What you need to do is extract all the files from the original and place the files in dvd shrink and let it do its job and shrink the files to fit.

These dvds are divx or xvid dvds that can store many episodes into one normal DVD-R disc, but you should note only divx or xvid dvd player supports these dvds, some normal dvd players can't play these dvds.

And with a right software, you also can easy to do this, you can try RZ DVD Creator, it can fit/burn multiple movies into one video DVD that can be played well on normal DVD players, it also can fit/burn many movies into one divx or xvid DVD that can be played well on divx or xvid dvd players.

Easy to use, run RZ DVD Creator, select "video dvd" or "divx dvd" or "xvid dvd" as target format, then directly drag&drop your movies into the software, if you view a message tip "Source DVD size is larger than CD/DVD disc capacity", press "Yes", then press START button, the software will auto fit/burn all movies into the inserted DVD disc, and you will get a video dvd, divx dvd or xvid dvd from all movies. You can google or yahoo search and download RZ DVD Creator, hope it can help you.

DVD are usually measured in GB size and not minutes. Assuming each episode is ~400MB, using a dual layer DVD-R you could fit 20 400MB episodes on the disk.

    400MB x 20 = 8000MB 8000MB = ~8Gigs.

Dual Layer DVD-R are each ~8.5Gigs while normal DVD-R's are ~4.7Gigs.

Shrinking that many episodes will DRASTICALLY reduce the quality of the video being watched.
