In the year 2010 how can it be possible that we as a people can cling on to bronze age superstitions?

Being a 36 year old lady and having long given up my dream of getting a fairer skin tone. Aside from my age, I am of African-American lineage and have dark spots on my eyebrows and cheeks. I don't believe that anyone really believes that black skin is a sin and I would wager that the very one who made that statement spends much of their time attempted to darken their skin.

Bigotry is scientifically inaccurate and reflects very justified feelings of inferiority and fear of loss of something one never even had.

That must be the result of inbreeding and a weak mind. It certainly is stupid.

Since the human race began in central Africa, we are all the descendants of black-skinned parents.

To be bigoted like that you have to be taught. To quote the song: "You've got to be taught to fear and hate, you have to be taught before you are six or seven or eight, to hate all the people your relatives hate, you've got to be carefully taught."
