Does anyone know a great place to have a baby shower in Oklahoma City?

If you know anyone who has OEC for their electric company, they may have a place that can be used for such events. At least they did 25 years ago here in Norman. My wedding shower was held in an OEC building (like a big conference room, with a sink and icebox). A cleaning deposit had to be paid and when the key was returned and the room inspected then the deposit was returned. The place had tables and chairs too. I attended many wedding and baby showers at that place. Wouldn't hurt to ask if you know someone who uses that electric company and is willing to "rent" it for you.

Hmm, well, it depends upon the type/atmosphere you want for the baby shower. But there are numerous restaurants throughout OKC that might be suitable locations, especially in Bricktown. You could also check with country clubs around the city that might let you use their facilities? A park could also provide a nice setting, although I cannot think of any spectacular public parks here. When I think baby shower a house is what I typically imagine, so maybe check with your friends in the area.
