South Korea and North Korea are technically at war right now, but they have a truce ( just no surrender , or peace treaty has been signed) . So there is a chance that there war will heat up.

Then there have been a lot of talks about the US entering Pakistan, if the Government doesn't do enough to combat the taliban in that region.

N/S Korea are the closest, their truce notwithstanding. Perhaps you saw in the news where the North sank a South Korean naval vessel killing 46 sailors. Tensions are pretty high there right now
