Do you realize how much you AREN'T changing by *****ing about it? Hey buddy, WAR IS COMPLETELY NATURAL. In case you haven't looked around at nature, every living being is at war with every other living being.

Now this isn't to say I like war; anyone in their right mind realizes that it's a terrible institution. But complaining over Yahoo answers won't change a thing. And grab a number, because you're only the 10^nth person to say this.

War has always been around and it will always be around. Violent conflict is inevitable with nutjobs like the Taliban running around. Yahoo can't answer this problem for you.

No one more so than those who fight our wars. There is really nothing deep or new about the question. As long as there are aggressors we will stand ready to defend our country and our way of life.

War has brought America some many great things. Over 150 US military bases in other countries, military superiority.

Although war is a terrible thing, without it our world would be overpopulated, even more than it is now, and there will be no food or water for anyone

War is a terrible thing, but fighting to the death is a animal instict, all humans are animals, no fact out there can disprove this.

Without war, world would be a better place, yes.

But global peace is NOT possible thanks to the muslim extremists, people who want Oil, and religion.

Yes religion. People do not like some ones religion and fight over it. If there was no religion, or everyone believed in the same thing, we would be one step closer to your tree hugging goal of global peace. But a long path we would still have to traverse.

Another reason is dictators and countries who think they are better then any nation and deserve every thing. Example: Hitler, North Korea, Iran, Saddam Hussain, and Osama Bin Laden.

Another reason is illegal Immagration (U.S.A and mexico), The united states is a land of diverse people, and we accept immagrants. But we do NOT like it when people flooding over the border illegaly, carrying weapons, drugs, you name it, probally has passed through thar border. Thanks to this Mexico and the United States of America are in a dispute over this and may lead to military action.

There are THOUSANDS UPON MILLIONS of reasons nations need weapons, killing people. Just to show that we dont tolerate this or that. Nations need weapons to defend themselves from idiotic countries trying to occupy them JUST to change there religion. A GREAT example of this, is WWII (world war 2), where germany attempted to purge the world of jews, just because of ONE man, hated them so dearly.

Soldiers do not like to fight, dont like to kill people, or to know that their friends sied because they didnt shoot that ONE guy. But neither do they like to know that their family can be killed over the reasons i listed above, and they are willing to sacrifice their own life for their nation, family and YOU.

Respect the people who have been to war, dont treat them like blood lust animals. They have seen more gory and terrifying things then you will ever see. Also remember, war was invented to protect ignorant people such as yourself, and protect what they believe is right. Its their opinion of whats right, its not yours. If they like war, dont call them names. Everyone has their own opinion, and they are damn well entitled to it.

Hope you all learned a valuable lesson from this.

That's probably why the U.S. is the top dog of the world.
