suggest me some music books to study?

Hey, I'm looking for books on music theory, songwriting, etc. Basically anything that can help improve my theory knowledge and my music writing ability. Any style will do, classical, jazz, rock etc. I can learn from them all. So please give me suggestions so I can get to reading!

Update:

Just a note: I already do know the basics of music theory, so I'm looking for more intermediate-advanced type stuff to increase my knowledge.

Update 2:

Good to see you're a mature adult Scott. Trotting around on Y!A stroking your ego, being a wonderful little keyboard warrior ;) Don't you have better things to be doing?

Music for retards, though that might be a bit too advanced for you, considering you don't have the intelligence to respect musicians who've been in the game much longer than you've been alive.

If you laid this losers music knowledge end-to-end it'd probably be an achievement.
