Anyone been bit by brown recluse spider?
I was bitten on Tuesday of last week and the symptoms are mostly gone except for the actual bite location. Anyone care to tell me about what happened to them? I hate the not knowing whats going to happen. The area is reddish with a darker area and a wound looking area...hurts too. Thanks

If the area around the bite looks like a bullseye, see a doctor. While recluse bites are rarely fatal, they can cause necrosis which can lead to gangrene.
Are you sure it was a recluse? Did you see the fiddle mark on its back? A doctor can decided about treatment better if they have the creature that bit you. I've instructed people (within margins of safety) to try to kill or capture the offending animal or insect. Identification goes a long way with determining treatment.
