In May Obama used temporary census jobs to inflate job numbers, in June will he use oil clean up jobs?

What really bad is that the census workers only have to work 1 hour a week to be counted as a full time worker.

If that is not enough , they are firing these workers and then rehiring them. They then count as a new job.

If they do that with each and every census worker think how that looks on the new job scene.

( Look up . census workers, whistle blowers) and while that is underhanded and sneaky it still counts as less then 1% job increase.

Now we have all the graduates getting out of college, I heard the graduates are only 30% covered on jobs. And some of those jobs are not even in the field or pay level of their education.

Such as a masters degree and they are working at Sears as a sales clerk!

Because he's a politician. Unfortunately, what is needed in the White House is a leader, not a politician. I wish Obama would get serious and open his mind to some alternative approaches to economic stimulus. Obviously his approach isn't working. I suspect he's relying on uninformed people believing his spin on the jobs report. Obviously Wall Street wasn't fooled, as the Dow dropped 325 points on the news.

What do you mean "Obama used..." I never heard anyone talk about the May numbers without referring to the census jobs. BTW, The NY Post is a rag.

A large number of Obama community organizers could remedy the problem in the Gulf.

The oil clean up jobs are not, unfortunately, going to be that "temporary". It may be years before we are done cleaning up this mess. I am more interested in the culpability of BP than in Obama's political moxie.

I hope he hires an army to clean up the oil spill mess, remember, the bill is going to BP so there is no reason not to get the job done right.
