He can do ANY style of dance and is master of the ballet. He is the consummate technician of any dance style.

* For what it 's worth, Baryshnikov thinks the best dancer whoever lived was Fred Astaire. I agree that nobody ever had more "music in them" then Astaire.

Astaire thought Michael Jackson was his "heir apparent".

Personally I loved Rudolf Nureyev. I saw him dance Don Quixote and thought he was brilliant.
