Why is it that the IP address that my computer is showing is different from the real IP address?
I am not under a proxy server but when i go to the command prompt typing ipconfig the IP address is 192.168.1.2 It can also be accessed on the network connections support. But when i tried visiting an IP address tracker website it says different IP address. It even determined my location. I tried to typed the IP address of my computer that is showing. It says cannot locate. Why? I tried other tracker websites and theyre all the same. My computer shows different. I wonder why?

Try to think of an IP address like it is your home address, and a street map as the internet itself. When somebody sends you a letter, they have to know your address in order for it to be delivered to you by the post office, just as someone on the internet needs to know where your computer is in order to send data to you.
The 192.168.1.2 address is your local address inside your house. It is a private address that is not used by any computer that resides on the internet. The router in your home that connects to your internet modem is giving you that address. It's like a neighborhood, each computer in your house or "on your street" has its own separate private address and talks to your router to access the internet.
The IP address that the website tracker shows you is your outside internet IP address (your Home address). It is assigned to you by your Internet Service provider (ISP), and they are the local branch of the post office in your neighborhood. They deliver data or "mail" every day to you. They need to know your home address in order to successfully deliver the mail. They give out the addresses to their customers, and this is how they can track which data gets sent to you (which letters that they delivered to you). They also have their own IP address (or addresses) on the internet just as you do. This address is called their gateway.
If you go into the access screen for your home router, it will show you that your WAN (or internet) connection is the IP address that the website tracker showed you. It may also show you the gateway address, which is your ISP's internet address.
This is how the internet works. The internet is a web of networks that are all connected together with no single point of failure, like a street map. If one street closes, they put up a detour sign and route the traffic through another street. Same goes for data traffic on the internet.
It's not called the world wide web for nothing :)

If you really need the IP on your PC, call the ISP tech support and see if they will put the modem into "bridge mode". It will no longer act as a router and the Public IP will be directly on the piece of equipment that plug into the router. Things to note: - The ISP may be unwilling to do this, this depends on the ISP. They may only allow bridged modems for business class connections. - If the ISP is willing to allow bridged mode, you may have to install additional software on your PC to use the connection, such as PPPOE software. This allows you to "log in" to the ISP network and get an IP from the ISP DHCP server. - Even with the modem in bridged mode, you may not receive a static IP. - With this setup, unless you put in your own router, chances are only one PC will be able to get online. The ISP may allow only one device per connection to receive an IP. - This will make your PC, no matter what OS you are running, more vulnerable because you are directly connected to the Internet. Other systems on the Internet will be able to directly contact your PC, whereas the router didn't allow new incoming connections to reach your PC. - It may be easier to see if there is a port forwarding feature in the router, if you can log in to the router. Just forward the needed ports to your PC, leaving your PC less vulnerable that if all traffic was connecting to it.

the 192.168.1.2 is the IP for your computer on that network. An IP address tracker is from your IP (internet provider)

192.168.1.2 is your local IP / your router IP. It's how other computers connected to your router can access your computer (through this IP)
The IP you see on websites, is the IP you are using when browsing the internet, uhmm..
I don't think that ipconfig can show it, but.. Yeah, the one showed there is your local IP, while the other is the global one.
