Do you think that our rights are being taken away from us by the Govt?

Check out this video. A pastor was arrested on PUBLIC PROPERTY for praying and reading the Bible on PUBLIC property.

What do you mean think? It has gone far beyond that, we have perpetrated one of the greatest lies and delusions of our time, that we are a free people. By some standards we are, but by our own standards of just a few decades ago, we are anything but free. With a good lawyer and an honest judge, this parson can win in a court battle, but if the judge is a left wing activist, the Constitution will be tossed out and the parson will be found guilty. The left wing activists hate the Constitution with a passion and will do anything possible to subvert it's intent concerning Church and State.

The twist and rephrase the wording of the Constitution to mean entirely something other than what is clearly stated. It says that there shall be no law "prohibiting the free exercise thereof." The authorities have taken his Constitutional rights away from him. It does not state or differentiate between public or private property, it just states the free exercise thereof. The parson was just exercising his freedom of speech.

The US Constitution from the first amendment:

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

No, our rights are the same, and it's nonsense to believe otherwise. Are there individual exceptions to this? Of course, there have always been instances of overzealous police and other government employees. But, 99.999% of the time, our nation works great. Do you feel like you have fewer rights? What do you want to do that you are no longer allowed to do?

Yes, our liberties are under attack from the liberals in D.C. Read Liberty and Tyranny by Mark Levin.
