Just interested to see what you all have to say, if you were the President, what would your solution be to turn the economy around and promote growth in the economy and to create jobs.

Of those out there who have thrown their hats into the ring and those who might, who do you feel has the best chance of beating Obama in 2012?

I like Herman Caine, Michelle Bachman, Sarah Palin, Rick Santorum, and Tim Pawlenty.

Would like to hear people's opinions on this issues, do you think raising taxes would help or hurt a business owners in regards to hiring more employees?

Just would like to hear what people think it takes to create jobs.

DOMA or Defense Of Marriage Act is a law passed in the 90's by President Clinton. Pres. Obama has told his justice dept. to NOT defend the law.

Last time I checked he took an oath when he became president to uphold and defend the laws of the land.

If he's failing to uphold the law, he should be removed from office.

As long as the Democrats have a majority in the Senate I know it won't happen, but I'd like to hear from you all as to what you all think.

I grew up as a Minnesota Twins fan, and I followed Kirby Puckett, Kent Hrbeck and Gary Gietti. I was a big fan of Gietti, wanted to be a 3rd. baseman and for a while whenever I played any sports, like basketball, softball or baseball, I wore #8.

Pretty much every nation around them wants to destroy them, so what is so wrong with them defending themselves? Would we here in the US take the same approach if a country brought ships off our costs and started firing missiles into our country?

It doesn't matter if it's a small business owner, or a big corporation, our president said there's a time for making profits, but now is not that time.

Why would someone be in business if they are not going to make a profit.

Currently I work in construction, and deliver ready mix concrete to contractors, so I'll use it as an example, say I was in concrete construction working for someone else, and I wanted to start my own concrete construction business, what would be the point of me even going into business, if there are people out against me to make a profit. Isn't that the point of going into business so you can make a profit? No matter HOW big your business is?

Personally I think we here in the US need to adopt a policy on illegal immigration that Mexico has for people who come into Mexico illegally.

Pretty sad when people who are having a peaceful protest are attacked because of what they believe.

Who do you think is going to make the biggest impact of the players drafted out of the first round?

According to a recent battle ground poll, it showed that almost 60% of all Americans polled considered themselves to be conservative. Do you agree or disagree and why?

I'm talking about from BOTH sides of the isle, from both Republicans and Democrats. Because I for one am sick of hearing the president blaming the previous administration for things that HE himself is responsible for. Also I think Republicans need to be held accountable and show some personal responsibilities when it comes to adding ear marks to bills.

Think about it, if you raise taxes, especially on the job producers, it hinders their ability to hire more workers, and to give their current employees raises. In fact when you raise their taxes, many times in order to cut costs they have to lay people off.

Take for example of what Reagan did in the 80's when he cut taxes, the tax rate was cut, but the tax revenue went up. The reason that tax revenues went up in the 80's was because more people were paying into the system. People were making more money moving them UP into a higher tax bracket, and because there were more people paying into the system, revenues went up.

SO, having said that, wouldn't cutting taxes be the answer to stimulate a down economy?

The same health care that they are forcing on the American people? It was reported by the New York Times on Mon.

I remember Nancy Pelosi saying we need to pass the bill to see what's in it. Goes to show that the liberals who voted for this bill DIDN'T READ THE BILL!
