Question about school surveillance camera?
I am wondering if me or my parents are allowed to view the school surveillance tape because someone vandalized my car. I asked the security guard to check the cameras and he said that he saw nothing in the tape of the suspected day that the incident occurred. I do not believe him because school is literally over and he is probably wanting to just start the summer. Will we need permission from the police or some other organization?

You will either need permission or subpoena...
You can always sue "john does 1-10" in small claims and then get a supoena duces tecum which can be served on the school demanding copies of the tapes...then you can use those tapes to identify the individuals and amend the complaint to have their actual names.
