Hung out with her yesterday and she touched and tugged my arm and also tried to walk close to me quite a lot, called me cute which I know are good signs. She also asked if I was interested in anyone at our uni and I said no, I asked her back she said no. However, one of the most obvious friend zone signs came along and just crushed my confidence. She talked about how her former best friend told her to break up with her ex-boyfriend and that her best friend started talking to him (Happened this month). She told me a lot about herself which I thought was bad b/c it has been quite a few months since we have last seen each other. After that discussion, I stopped talking and she consistently initiated the convo (random topics) and me being devastated by the fact that I may have been friend zoned did not really pay attention to her. I will man up and ask her, but just for the sake of waiting till the next time we hang out do you guys think I have been forever friend zoned (FML) or is she interested in me?

an assumption by most people that they are in the friend zone?

-We've known each other for about 2 years, but we haven't been around each other long enough for us to friend zone one another (Mainly due to the fact that we went to high schools in different counties and had our own group of friends).

-Haven't seen her for around 5-6 months. Asked if I had a girlfriend and if I was a virgin when we last hung out 5-6 months ago. Stopped hanging out b/c one day I decided to fake on her b/c I honestly did not have any good plans for hanging out so she got mad and stopped talking to me.

-Texts me out of the blue and I discover we ended up going to the same uni. Wants to buy books with me. Wants me to take the same class as her. She referred to us as "study buddiesssss" in a text after telling her that I got the class (In my mind I'm saying to myself "FML AM I FRIEND-ZONED?!?") The word "buddy" in any context in my book is just devastating to me.

What are your opinions? Have I been friend-zoned?

I met this girl about a year or two ago and we stopped talking (I faked (by accident) on her when we decided to hang out one time and I guess she got mad and stopped talking to me) about 6 months ago. During this time I was pretty sure I was friend zoned (told me she made out with this guy, however on another occasion that we met she tried to sneakily change her story by not mentioning that she made out with him, but instead saying that she just knew him) by her so I just moved on with my life. Recently, out of the blue, this girl texts me asking if i went to the same uni (Yes) as her. We had the typical text convo (whats up? and etc). I decided to text her "I miss you, Merry Christmas :)" and she responded "I miss you too <3, Merry Christmas". The "<3" was a bit unexpected b/c you know we haven't spoken in 6 months. New Years Eve came along and I decided to text her "Happy new years <3" and she responded back with "Happy new years <333". She asked if I was ready for next semester (books and such) and I said I haven't bought them yet and it was pretty obvious that she wanted to go with me by the questions (are you buying at store or online?) that she was asking. Would you say I'm still getting friend-zoned, being used, or something else?

I honestly see no purpose in going to prom because it's basically a usual weekend party with a big school dance. Let alone, people don't even hang out with most of the people outside their clique. I love to party and such, but I don't view prom as such a big deal as most people believe. Does anyone else believe that prom is an event that really has no importance?

So I was sitting down at my desk and this girl (who i think is pretty cute) sat down next to me acting like she was paying attention to the teacher. There were about 4 other desks that she could've sat in. She suddenly turned to me and started up a conversation with questions like where are you going to college? and etc.. You know the typical how's your life questions. A few years ago this girl asked to see my cell phone and when i went to check what she did she gave me her number. I felt stupid for not texting her at the time (I was a freshman in high school so yea..no game..) Do you guys think this girl likes me? We're going to the same college so thats a plus idk how to approach her though..please help thanks

So I hung out with the girl I liked this weekend and we talked. I can't really tell if she likes me though. She tells me a lot about her personal life like who she went out with and etc. She asked me if I had a girlfriend which I responded "no". We were asking each other about people we both knew and she told me a story that she told me a during a previous hang out session (either she didn't remember telling me this story before or she wanted me to forget about it), but differently. The first time she told this story she admitted she made out with him then this time she just says her friend introduced him to her and she said nothing about making out with him. She even told how some of her friends stopped talking to her because they thought she was split personality as in talked behind other people's backs. Sorry this explanation is a bit chaotic, but I was just pouring everything out that I could remember from the meeting. Do you guys think she thinks of me as just a good friend or does she have feelings for me?

It is hard to predict a girl's feelings? I can never tell when a girl is just being a tease or being serious.

So recently this girl I like started talking to me again. We haven't talked to each other for a couple of months and so getting a text from her was kind of unexpected. We exchanged messages like the basic how are you etc. Then she was like "let's hang out sometime <3". This message was totally unexpected idk whether to take this seriously given the fact that she has never sent such emoticons.

Are the stars that we see through telescopes what they look like in the present time or what they looked like from a past time. For example, say a star is 5 million light years away how long would it take for light to travel to earth and would that image be the star in present time?

I'm waiting for colleges to reply back to me on admissions. I'm wondering how high school level classes I took in middle school will affect my GPA when it comes to colleges looking at my transcript. In my school system they put my middle school grades on my transcript. I took two levels of Spanish as well as Algebra I and Geometry. I got a C for a semester of Algebra I, Cs for both semesters of Spanish 2, and a C in one semester of Geometry. I took these classes within two years (7th and 8th grade). These grades kill my overall GPA. Do colleges only look at your grades in high school even if you took high school level classes in middle school?

What is it with high school students and partying every weekend? I'm a senior now and I realize all my friends do now is party and stupid sh!t. I don't see the fun in being a tool, but at the same time I don't want to lose my friends. I know I made a bad choice in friends, but whatever I'll leave them when I graduate. Also, why are people so fake. They try to be someone they're not just to be popular. Not to be bitter or anything, but fck high school.

I need help choosing a major. I enjoy physics and math. I feel like working with computers would be exciting, however I have heard you have to be very logical in order to do CE. Could you pursue a career in business with either major? MBA?

The universities I am applying to provide CEEB codes, however when I went on Collegeboard they never ask for the CEEB codes. Collegeboard had no option for finding schools through CEEB code just location. I need some answers on whether or not the CEEB is necessary?

I've been really stressed out b/c I am worried that I won't get into college. I get angry very easily and I don't want to go out much. I feel angry at myself for no reason and I feel like I have this anger inside of me that I can't let go of. I feel like if I don't get into college my life is pointless and I've been feeling very pessimistic lately. I feel so terrible right now. Need advice on how to cope with this stress.

Is there a difference between the common app essay and the essay on the topics that the universities provide on the application??

I am wondering if me or my parents are allowed to view the school surveillance tape because someone vandalized my car. I asked the security guard to check the cameras and he said that he saw nothing in the tape of the suspected day that the incident occurred. I do not believe him because school is literally over and he is probably wanting to just start the summer. Will we need permission from the police or some other organization?

I can't fill up my schedule for senior year b/c i don't feel like taking a bullsh!t class, but at the same time i don't want to suffer through my last year of high school. Through personal experience what do you guys think about taking AP Chem and AP Physics together?

My driving school never gave me a certificate for completing the course how ever I heard that the driving school submits my proof of taking this class online? is that true?
