Does she like me or not?

So recently this girl I like started talking to me again. We haven't talked to each other for a couple of months and so getting a text from her was kind of unexpected. We exchanged messages like the basic how are you etc. Then she was like "let's hang out sometime <3". This message was totally unexpected idk whether to take this seriously given the fact that she has never sent such emoticons.

Update:

Can't ask her out yet it's too soon. Jeffrey s it's a bit ironic that you call me a loser when you're the one on Yahoo Answers for the sake of trolling.

    That is a serious attempt at getting you to ask her out. The heart kinda gave it away. But she wants you to ask her since she just said "sometime". She wants you to call or text her and say "let's hang out today" or something. So she wants you to make the official plans to show that you definitely like her back. Hope this helped!

    hang out with her and see how much she flirts first, she might've just recently picked up using emoticons through friends or something like that. if you can't wait until you hang out then try flirting with her subtly and see if she flirts back

    Well I did that with a guy that didnt like me but I did like him so i started talking to him again... Maybe she does or maybe she wants something from you... It depends on how she is

    i suggest not doing anything and if she keeps texting you and talking to you then she might have feelings for you, and if not, then she obviously doesn't. just wait it out.
