I have a windows 98 on one side of the partition and updated version on the other. How do I delete one of them?

If you're willing to dish out about $30, I recommend going with Paragon Partition Manager ( http://www.partition-manager.com/ ). It's a lot more feature-rich and stable than free partition manager, but if you're looking for something simple and free go with Partition Wizard ( http://www.partitionwizard.com/ ). Once you have the software, managing partitions is extremely easy, just be sure not to power off your PC while making changed to partitions because you can corrupt your hard drive.
