Help me verify tanx+tany/tanxtany=tany+cotx?

    You get 1/tany + 1/tanx = tany +cotx

    So coty +cotx = tany + cotx

    Thus coty = tany which is absurd.

    Thus you do not have an identity.

    the given might desire to be a million/(tanx-cotx)= sinxcosx so as that: a million/[sinx/cosx) - (cosx/sinx)] = sinxcosx a million/ [(sin^2x-cos^2x)/cosxsinx)] = sinxcosx, pondering sin^2x-cos^2x= a million, then, cosxsinx/a million = sinxcosx cosxsinx = sinxcosx

    They are not equal. When you simplify, you end up with tanx + 1/tanx, which is tanx + cotx.
